Radio Galaxies is a game in which each participating school will explore new forms of communication and at the same time they have to find out the place where other groups are located. Allow me to reintroduce myself, my name is Eliana Vero, I was born in Venezuela, raised in the Canary Islands and nowadays based in Oslo, Norway. Together with my team we seek to build bridges between children/teenagers and the natural world. Our proposal called Radio Galaxies Epitome (RG3) is an interactive research game that promotes teamwork and the exchange of knowledge through the art of combining skills. Today, we acknowledge the global demand for environmental educators, which is why our main goal is to bring visibility to those who live in communities far from urban areas, and help young people take full responsibility for a healthy synergy with the planet. This game is specially designed for young people between from 7 to 17 years. Our goal is to change the current narrative of the corporate world that only focuses on financial gains, so that we can together restore our love for nature!

Group A,B,C and beyond

phase 1
+ Step 1: Meeting the groups and knowing each other in order to make the peacefulzone, a place to send a message. The goal of our first workshop is to send messages in a “digital bottle”. Digital bottles are pen drive with instructions for a challenge. This challenge will be created by geologists, environmental activists and professionals related to nature. The “Digital Bottle” is physically transported from one school-institution to another, thus creating a bridge for dialogue between the groups A,B,C and beyond.

+ Step 2: Say hei:) Make a video of the experience, say HEllO out loud and dance with joy at meeting other kids out there!. To be within the legality of identity, the children's faces will be masked with costumes/avatars (Superheroes).

+ Step 3: After sending the bottle message...the kids will receive a response from another school. Along with the answer come new challenges and questions +  children will receive a map of their area and the map of the other's area.

+ Step 4: Children will analyze with the necessary tools provided by the RG3 team and obtain data on the geology/nature of their environment.
