Madamløkken Kindergarten

FeaturesThe story behind. The artist Eliana Vero in collaboration with Bydel Bjerke and kindergarten "Madam Løkken" proposed the creation of a mural entitled "Heaven on Earth" where local wild plants were painted with the help of 6 teachers and around 18 children. The large botanical mural is 7m long x 3.60m high placed at the confluence with the paths between Lynderud Senter, the residential area, the metro station and Lynderud gård.

With two weeks prior to the painting of the mural, teacher Katrin Lenander visited the children to show them botanical illustrations of flowers and how to plant seeds.

This project promotes meeting areas where different cultures and ages share their knowledge.
